About Us

Korrin and Matt Rogers bought the business, Palmetto Organics in 2009 and since then have been growing and building a service they love. This is a service that makes the safest, most environmentally and ethically responsible decisions, while still focusing on freshness and, most importantly, taste. Palmetto Organics strives for accessibility and convenience for their customers and are committed to providing the best value and service. The company’s goal is to spread an opportunity for health and wellness through awareness about one's food and lifestyle choices. The Rogers are both chefs and "health-nuts," hoping to inspire as many individuals as they can.

Matt attended the Philadelphia Restaurant at The Walnut Hill College in 1997 and graduated from the Certified Chef's Training program in 1998.  During his time at TRS, Matt reevaluated his eating and lifestyle choices and became vegetarian. Ever since he has been using his Classic French background to recreate your standard vegetarian/ vegan fare.  Matt studies vary from dietary theories that range from Raw foods to Macrobiotics. In May 2008, Matt completed an intensive program at the Strengthening Health Institute in Philadelphia, furthering his knowledge and understanding of a Macrobiotic/ Whole foods diet and way of life.

Korrin is a Certified Health Counselor. In order to fulfill her passion of working with children and parents to improve their health and family life, Korrin decided to become a councilor and received her training at Integrative Nutrition; a cutting-edge leader in holistic nutrition education in New York City. Not only is Korrin certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, but also leads workshops on nutrition and offers individual health and nutrition coaching to parents and families. Furthermore, Korrin is also a graduate of Natural Gourmet Institute, a premier school based in health-supportive culinary arts and theory, also located in New York City. Korrin’s past professions include working as a whole foods chef in Los Angeles, Maui, Arizona and Jacksonville over the past ten years.

Together, Korrin and Matt have two small children and one small business and are hoping for both to make a BIG impact!!
