Basket Sizes and Contents.
Contents of the baskets change from week to week based on seasonal availability and variety from week to week.
On Fridays, we send out an e-mail to all of our members with that week’s produce selection and recipes that
showcases that weeks produce.
Single Harvest– A selection of approximately 5 lbs of produce recommended for 1+ people per week. $25/week
Basic Harvest– A selection of approximately 9 lbs of produce recommended for 2 people per week. $35/week
Family Harvest– A selection of approximately 15 lbs of produce recommended for 3-4 people per week. $45/week
Grande Harvest– A selection of approximately 20 lbs of produce recommended for 4+ people. $55/week
Healthy Kids Basket-A selection of approximately 9lbs which is heavy on the fruit but includes some veggies. A new offering that some of our junior members helped us design. $35/week
Delivery. (view our delivery schedule)
We deliver between 7AM and 7PM on Mondays and Tuesdays. We will assign your delivery day and approximate time based on the area of town where you live. Routes are designed to minimize the fuel costs of delivery which keeps us price competitive and lowers the food miles. You do not have to be home when the driver arrives. Just leave a large cooler with ice or ice packs by your front door. We’ll be happy to unload the produce into your cooler so it will be waiting for you when you get home.
Billing.
We bill on a calendar bi-monthly basis on your delivery days. Your exact monthly bill depends on the basket size you selected and the number of delivery weeks within the month. The delivery
fee is included in your basket price. You can either pay your driver (cash or check) on the first
delivery of the month or have your monthly subscription payment billed to your American
Express, Visa or MasterCard.
Commitment to Growers.
We make a commitment to our network of farmers to buy a certain quantity of produce for each seasonal harvest. We ask you to make a similar commitment to us by agreeing to a minimum of
three months of service.
Personal Exclusions & Special Orders.
When you join you can let us know what items you don’t ever want to receive, for dietary or personal preference needs, and we’ll make sure we replace those items with an alternative each week. Also, we will do our best to accommodate requests for additional quantities (additional fruit, vegetable or salad mix quantities) or specialty items (organic juice, coffee, dried fruit or nuts). This additional service is limited to our members who subscribe to one of our monthly basket options as an add-on service.
Delivery Hold
We understand that customers may not be home for every delivery, due to vacations, traveling, family obligations. We ask to be notified by the Saturday before delivery by 2pm, so that adjustments maybe made. If holds or cancellations of deliveries are later than that time, 2pm the Saturday before delivery, we reserve the right to charge half price of what the bag costs.
